AMP Manager

Mobile App Management:

AMP Manager facilitates the complete lifecycle management for mobile apps, employing a tiered approach to promoting new or updated versions through the app lifecycle phases of development, testing, production, and ongoing maintenance.

AMP Manager Apps are first published on the AMPchroma platform and made available to users simply by dropping the app assets into the unique “Drop Zone.” Developers have the option to publish apps as web, hybrid, native, or via Antenna’s patented multi-app “managed hybrid” container. A multi-app container has the advantage of appearing as a single native app for users, but provides management and maintenance flexibility for administrators. See details in AMP Client.

Once published, apps appear in the enterprise app store, or public app stores, based on the administrator’s instructions and available certificates. Apps can be made available to Users based on their assigned Groups and designated as mandatory, recommended, or optional.

Administrators have complete visibility into the performance and usage statistics for all apps across the entire user and device population. Updates and upgrades can be pushed live by incrementing the version number and publishing the new assets. A history of app versions is maintained. Apps can be uninstalled or updated over-the-air without requiring any action on the part of the user.

Mobile Device Management:

AMP Manager AMP Manager includes device management capabilities for administrators. Users wishing to access corporate assets can be required to register their device, or devices can be registered by the mobile administrator, or even registered automatically. Once registered, device properties can be monitored for compliance and apps can be managed remotely. Individual apps or the entire device can be wiped remotely in the event of employee separation or lost or stolen device.

Mobile Data Management:

AMP Manager provides mobile administrators with the ability to control access to corporate data and systems. Access to data or apps can be restricted based on User or Device registration information. Data access policies can be set and monitored in one central place for consistency, control, and compliance.

Mobile User Management:

AMP Manager AMP Manager delivers comprehensive user management capabilities completely integrated with app and device management. Users can be created manually by the admin or imported in bulk from Directory Servers. User authentication and authorization are then integrated with enterprise systems, providing for easier adoption among users. Users can be assigned to Groups where their app permissions and requirements reside, and assigned Roles where their platform privileges are controlled. Users are associated with registered devices so that the entire user/app/device universe is visible and monitored by the mobile administrator.

Monitoring and Control:

As the central control panel for the entire mobile enterprise, AMP Manager will provide more standard monitoring and reporting features over time. Already included is the ability to query the system to generate ad hoc data. AMP Manager allows for centralized control of available AMP Services, including usage monitoring and the ability to enable and disable services for individual apps or across the entire system.
