1TO1 MAGAZINE HONORS DIRECTV, AN ANTENNA SOFTWARE CUSTOMER, WITH 2007 1TO1 IMPACT AWARD
DIRECTV Recognized for Pioneering Deployment of Antenna’s Mobile CRM Technology to Sales Organization
JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Jan. 22, 2008 – Antenna Software, delivering real business mobility to the world’s most demanding enterprises, today announced that its customer, DIRECTV, received 1to1 Magazine’s 1to1 Impact Award for excellence in sales optimization. DIRECTV was recognized for its deployment of Antenna’s AMPower™ SALES solution, which empowered its sales force with access to business-critical, real-time information while in the field.
The Sales Optimization category winners were required to “demonstrate the impact of a sales technology on the customer experience.” By deploying Antenna’s AMPower SALES solution, DIRECTV equipped its area sales managers (ASMs) with an easy, secure way to instantaneously access essential customer information while mobile. Due to this project, DIRECTV significantly improved sales efficiency, productivity and problem resolution by providing its ASMs with up-to-the-minute customer and product data on their RIM BlackBerry smartphones operating on the AT&T network.
Since adopting AMPower SALES, DIRECTV’s ASMs have saved more than 90 hours a week and seen a 30 percent increase in the number of accounts they can visit. The ASMs also improved frequency of sales data reporting from seven days to one day and shortened service request resolutions from five days to three days.
