Gartner, a leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, positions Antenna in
the Leaders quadrant of its Magic Quadrant for Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms (MEAP) report published December 18,
2008 and authored by William Clark and Michael King.
The Magic Quadrant report positions vendors in one of four quadrants, based on a company's completeness of vision and ability
to execute. According to Gartner, "leaders must not only be good at supporting their own platforms, but they also must have a good vision
of the multichannel enterprise, a solid understanding of IT requirements and scalable channels and partnerships to market. They
also have to provide platforms that are easy to purchase, program, deploy and upgrade."
Gartner renamed the multichannel access gateway market to the mobile enterprise application platform market, reflecting its
maturation, Apple's entry, and the move of mobile tools and platforms to the application development mainstream. More-stringent
requirements have narrowed the number of vendors.
