The AMP Web Server (AWS) Open Source (formerly Volantis Mobility Server or VMS) from Antenna, is a comprehensive developer platform that solves the challenges of optimizing and adapting content and applications across Internet connected devices. Distributed under open-source, AWS Open Source allows developers to start building advanced mobile sites by using the framework "as is", or modifying the source code and sharing their enhancements through the project. It contains everything needed to create functionally rich, robust and device independent web sites. AWS Open Source is available under an open source license, making it free to download and use in a production environment.
Note: AWS Open Source capabilities lag those of the current AMP Web Server product, such as updated device support for the latest smartphone devices. There are no upgrades or enhancements available for AWS Open Source.
